Free Willie – Printable

Description

In 1928, Walt Disney released Steamboat Willie, a short film starring Mickey Mouse, who would quickly become Disney’s mascot, and a ubiquitous cultural icon.

In January 2024, Steamboat Willie, along with the version of Mickey depicted in the short entered the public domain in the US. To celebrate, I made a very silly doodle, parodying the poster for Free Willie.

The printable package contains:

• A .png file of the ‘Free Willie’ illustration at a ratio suitable for printing on A-series paper, at a maximum size of 450dpi on A3 paper.
• A .pdf version of the above.

Please note that while the license for printables will allow you to make as many prints as you like for your own use – including as gifts, any sort of commercial use, and sharing printable files in any way is forbidden.
