This piece came about as a happy accident. While working on the Sun illustration, I created the corona first, then added a black sphere in the centre to begin working on the rest of the image. Then I realised that this looked really cool on it’s own, so I decided it deserved to be its own piece. I’ve had Soundgarden stuck in my head since.

This piece came about as a happy accident. While working on the Sun illustration, I created the corona first, then added a black sphere in the centre to begin working on the rest of the image. Then I realised that this looked really cool on it’s own, so I decided it deserved to be its own piece. I’ve had Soundgarden stuck in my head since.
The ‘art poster’ takes inspiration from modern and classic design, using digital tools, but taking cues from Bauhaus and mid century poster art. It is sold as a giclée print on 300gsm uncoated paper.
