This piece, originally created as a vector graphic, is based on Nasa imagery of Venus. To add an element of visual interest, and avoid it looking too much like Jupiter or Mars, I used a reference that NASA had created which combines saturated, close-up images to give a planetary view.

This piece, originally created as a vector graphic, is based on Nasa imagery of Venus. To add an element of visual interest, and avoid it looking too much like Jupiter or Mars, I used a reference that NASA had created which combines saturated, close-up images to give a planetary view.
This ‘art poster’ takes inspiration from modern and classic design, using digital tools, but taking cues from Bauhaus and mid century poster art. It’s sold as a printable.
The printable package contains:
- A .png file of the ‘Venus Art Poster’ illustration at a ratio suitable for printing on A-series paper, at a maximum size of 600dpi on A3 paper.
- A pdf versions of the above.
