Uranus is very large, and a blue-green colour. Which is a surprise, because I had always assumed it was a brownish-pink. It’s also very far away, and quite cold.
Description
Like it’s neighbour, Uranus, Neptune is a blue-green ball of ice, hurtling around the sun. While the other images in this collection are based directly on NASA photographs of stellar objects, this design is one step removed from the original NASA photograph, as it’s actually based on a Neptune planet lamp I made several years ago.
This ‘art poster’ takes inspiration from modern and classic design, using digital tools, but taking cues from Bauhaus and mid century poster art. It’s sold as a printable.
The printable package contains:
- A .png file of the ‘Neptune Art Poster’ illustration at a ratio suitable for printing on A-series paper, at a maximum size of 600dpi on A3 paper.
- A pdf versions of the above.
